Take into account that, as said in other message, the Mac 512k (like all the
older compacts) can only read/write 800 Kb disks, and that PC floppy drives
can't create those diskettes. So you will need another Mac with a floppy drive
that supports 800 Kb disks (any non-USB drive will do the job, I think). If you
only have this Mac and all the other computers you have are PCs, you are out of
luck :-( . You'll need that somebody with an 800 Kb-capable drive make the boot
floppy for you.

Out of this, you need to know what System version you can use. If you have an
"original" 512k, you can use any System up to 4.1. If you have a 512ke, you can
also use System 5.0 through 6.0.8. Anyway, I think that with only 512 Kb of RAM,
System 6 will eat most of the memory, leaving only a little free space for apps.
So I would choose System 4.2: it needs few memory, and will work whaterver your
model is.

Greetings,

Antonio Rodrguez (Grijan)
