I have a Classic which seems to work well, though the HD is smaller than the 120Mb drive that I dropped into my SE. The larger and probably faster drive may also account for the feeling that the SE is quicker too.

Anyway,

The Classic screen is getting short. Rather than going all the way to the top and bottom of the CRT there is a good 1/2 to 3/4 inch of black above and below. The whole screen; icons, toolbar, trashcan, etc. is on the narrower space, everything is just short and squashed looking. Is there an adjustment for this? A pot on the video board or something? There used to be an article on LEM;

Making A Video Adjustment Tool , Chris Lawson, Mac Daniel, 3/24/00. Would you believe you can craft one from an old toothbrush?

that led me to believe that there was some kind of adjustment but the link brings up a page saying the article was removed at the authors request.
