I bought a cache adapter to fit a Mac Classic from a lister. This is unique
because it had never in its ten year existence been opened.

I just got it today, and although I have to go to work tomorrow, I GOTTA
play with this thing.

So the cellophane comes off. Then the sleeve.

Then the box comes open. The papers are pristine. And they smell good
in that new paper-smell way.

The anti-static bag was peeled open carefully. Inside rests the adapter. I
picked it up and looked at it. Perfect. It smells NEW. No yellowing. No
grime.

This comes with a tee-handled screw remover and a case cracker; a chromed
clamp used to pry open the case halves. I use a different method, but for
historical accuracy, I'm gonna try the cracker.

With four 4MB RAMsticks in hand, and my Diimo '030 card at 50Mhz., I'm gonna
put this unit to the test tonight.

Thanks, Ken! And thanks, listers for letting me waste a little bandwidth.
