I've got a few of each (ethernet cards for the SE and the SE/30). I fixed
up 1 ethernet SE just to see what it could and could not do. It does
AppleTalk through a 10BaseT hub pretty much like any other old Mac. But
it will not run LocalTalk Bridge or LaserWriter Bridge. I didn't try any
TCP/IP stuff; MacTCP might run, but then what apps will fit in 4M RAM?

To determine if one of these ethernet cards work, you pretty much have to
install it and load driver software into the Mac. After going through all
that, it seemed silly to take it all apart and sell the card separately.
So I tried to sell the entire unit (SE + ethernet), but with no success.
The SE/30 + ethernet combo is much more usable, and I have been able to
sell a few of those. (Any purchase inquiries please email me off-list;
I'm in the US and have never shipped to any other country).
