The 'poor man's grayscale adapter" is Stuart Bell's webpage, not mine. The grayscale adapter won't provide 640x480. It provides 256 shades of gray on existing resolution of internal display. The grayscale adapter requires 1 of 3 Micron Xceed PDS slot video cards. The Micron Xceed PDS slot video card will provide 640x480 on external display.
