Greetings:
So what's the deal? Can the SE/30 handle 128MB of RAM or is it a Bad Idea?
Any recommendations for where I can pick up some 120 ns 30-pin SIMMs? (That's what EveryMac.com says I need.) I mean aside from eBay....
Jeff
If you can't find the 16MB SIMMs you want the El Cheapo way, try S.A. Technologies, Inc. (www.satech.com). They have an unimagineable wealth of rare memory chips. My experience with this vendor is very positive. No affiliation whatsoever of course. I maxed out my SE/30s with their chips with no problem. But, no matter where you get the SIMMs from: be prepared to wait for your SE/30 w/ 128MB while it does the RAM check! An unprecedented experience for me...
