Thank yew(!) to all of y'all that helped me out on the take-apart on the CC...
Now... to Part Duex... I am having a problem w/ installing a workable OS onto my CC. It WAS going along just fine, thank ya, with 7.1 on a 40mb HD... ...but NO! I just HAD to "fix" it all up until it was totally FUBAR! I tried installing 7.6.1 (my personal fave) onto a 250mb HD. I tried it first with an external CD-rom with the OS disk in it. After I started the install, and the installer "checked the HD," the installer would stop and stay at the "choose what to install" screen. I never saw the software licence agreement. It did the SAME thing w/ OS 7.6.1 installer from an external HD. I figured it must be the 10mb RAM on the CC being to small... If y'all can clue me in on what is going wrong, please let me know.. other than that. is there some sort of "enabler" or some other app I need to get OS 7.6.1 to work on my CC?
