This switch must switch all four lines as it seems to work flawlessly. I tested the keyboard via KeyCaps on both machines and everything appears to register, as does the mouse. I'm sure what you're saying about some of these switches only switching 2 pins is accurate, then those wouldn't work. This switch seems to work great, and it's way cheaper than a KVM ($16ish shipped). It's even beige in color, though a bit darker than Mac beige. All in all, I think it's a great product for what I want to do.
