There are tons of software available at no charge for your Mac Plus. The quandary is downloading it with a newer Mac, which makes the task easier. I own an LC 475, an older pizza box with a relatively quick CPU, that's fine for the purpose of downloading stuff from http and ftp sites. And since it can read and create both 800k and 1.4M floppies, I can make boot disk/application disk combos for the Plus. I just made a System 6.0.3 and Arkanoid Game disk for one of my six Plusses. Start at the LEM Swap list for cheap Macs, and I hope you have a 12 or 14 inch monitor or can find one at a local thrift store. Keyboard, mouse and external modem are necessaries, also. Go to jagshouse.com for some great software apps and utilities. Follow his links to other places and use Google to drum up hoardes of old softwares. The Mac Plus, with Mouse Write, or M.S.
