Okay, this is my third posting in about 10 minutes, so bear with me.

Last night, I stripped out an antique PC to see if there were any useable components inside that I could flog on eBay. Most of it is pretty much obsolete and worthless in the world of PCs but I did find something that maybe of interest to someone on the list.

Inside, there was one 4MB 72pin SIMM, but also four 1MB 32pin SIMMs, which I *think* are useable in some models of Mac. Unfortunately, I have no way of testing this, and for all I know the memory may not even work (since the computer itself was dead). However, if anyone wants these SIMMS, you can have them - for free!

As I said, these come with NO PROMISES whatsoever, and I can't take any responsibility for any damage done to your machine. But, if you're feeling brave they can be yours for free.

Oh yeah, any advice on how to pack them and avoid static buildup in transit would be especially welcome...
