Telnet's an old web beowser that will work fair with Macs of the vintage you are trying to internet with. It's graphic-devoid, bringing you only text when you visit a page that won't crash it. A huge supply of external modems that were for PC's work on old Macs. I use a Cardinal 14.4 PC modem to email with on my Mac PLus. Just the string AT&Z is all it takes.
