Okay, maybe a dramatic title. But someone on the Vintage Macs mailing list pointed out this eBay item which is quite a rarity and also highly coveted:

Yes, that's right, it's the Micron Xceed Grayscale card for the SE/30, and looks like it's in superb condition. 6 days of bidding to go and it's already at $61 as I type this!
2. More RAM
In other SE/30 news, my own latest upgrade is complete - and this was the first time I've ever opened my Mac up. Last night I made the leap from 20MB of RAM to a whopping 80MB. I just need another 4 16MB SIMMs and I'll be at my target of 128MB. My Mac has the bling bling!
3. Torx Drivers
Finally, a word of advice on Torx drivers. In the UK I was having trouble sourcing one, until I tried RS Components (http://rswww.com). There I managed to find an item listed under Tools > Hand Tools > TORX Drivers > Extra Long Torx Driver. The item is described as "providing the extra clearance needed when servicing many computer systems, especially Macintosh." When my driver actually arrived, it came in a (rather old and dusty looking) packet and was called a "Mac Cracker." Pretty much ideal! Works like a charm, and the tip is magnetic which is great for putting back those damn recessed screws. The driver was made by Ideal Industries (http://www.idealindustries.com).
