Do they actually make SCSI drives in a laptop form factor?

They used to, but no longer. You can still pick up brand new 120Mb (!) SCSI laptop drives in the UK. Much later ones were infact IDE drives with an add-on adapter.

I guess they do. Cool idea. On a related note, has anyone connected a SCSI
drive internally to a Mac Plus? I'm sure it could be done, but curious if
anyone has experience.

One of my 'eventual' projects puts a 2.5" SCSI drive inside a 512ke with a MacSnap card. I have all the bits, but would want to add a fan as well.
