Does anyone on the list happen to dabble in programming for the 68k
Macs, or know of a place where I may find some insight or development tools?
I have a rather odd project that I may possibly delegate to some of these
old machines. I just need to learn more about writing programs for them.
I'd rather do it with a Mac than a PC if possible :>)

Think Pascal is a nice environment for use on an old Mac and it's freely and legally available for download:

Think Pascal went out of fashion in the mid 1980s as most developers switched to Think C or MPW but it is very well suited to beginners. Most 68K code samples from Apple including Pascal examples so you can access the Mac toolbox easily.
