Although the pins align perfectly with the PDS slot on the board and this accelerator *IS* the one compatible with the SE/30 I am going to need an adapter or riser.
How easy are PDS riser/adapters? (Please say they are easy to find! ;))
The physical connectors are the same, but electrically, they are very different. You do not want to plug the Turbo040 into the SE/30 (nor the IIsi) without the adapter.
The adapters are not that common. One from a IIsi will work. There was some outfit in Asia (Japan?) selling a cloned adapter I think, but I don't have any of the details.
