I don't know what your circumstance is, whether you have the resources or not to replace both the analog board and motherboard, but the Plus is so exceptionally available that I'd suggest grabbing another set of boards and replacing them. If you want the satisfaction of having repaired it yourself, and you can solder and de-solder stuff, the look into replacing those parts most commonly identified as needing replacement and go at it. Any way you look at it, the Mac Plus is a most marvelous and fun little computer able to do quite a lot. Word process, play games, organize, learn, print, email and so much more.
