Hi gang,
Picked up a Mac SE FDHD, went through the instructions on creating a Mac
bootdisk on Windows, put the disk in the SE. Power it on, it accesses the
disk for a few seconds, spits it out, and gives me the "I need an OS" icon -
any ideas?

In my experience, the instructions for making a boot disk for a mac on pc are flawed.

I'd be happy to send you a image or two that will unpack using rawrite, winimage ect and then boot the mac without the hassel.

Drop me a line off list.
