According to the service manual R8 is the one to cut for memory  
upgrades.

The system saver (hehe) is completely american as far as the power  
lead goes so I'm guessing it will not happily take 240 volts? The last  
owner never used it I'm told. I'm yet to take the working machine  
apart just to look inside the system saver, from the outside I guess  
everything will work but the fan which will need replacing?
