A friend gave me an external Hard Drive for my Plus (GCC Ultradrive 45) with cables, and he said it worked.
My Plus, however, does not deign to acknowledge its presence. I've tried changing the HD's Scuzzy #, checked the connections, and attempted to reformat the HD off the Plus (but since it does not recognize that the device is plugged in this did not work). The HD lights up and spins, but my Plus does not know that it is there.
Any suggestions? I would think that there was a problem with the cable, but my friend assured me that it was working (and he has no reason to lie).
I am puzzled.
