: Whenever Apple prints adds, manuals, etc. they always use a specific
: font. It is the same one that the guy who made the Macintosh 20th
: Birthday pictures used, to be accurate. What font is it? I can never
: find and do not know the name of it. Can anyone tell me what it is?
I just answered you privately, but maybe someone else will
find it useful:
To the best of my knowledge, old Apple corporate style used
various forms of Garamond. This varied throughout years, and I think
it was their own version of Garamond.
For the posters I used Type 1 font ITC Garamond Light Narrow, which
is close enough, although not the best version possible
(no ligatures, etc.)
For the record, the new Apple font is Myriad, also told to be
their own modified version.
