It works! Wow! I let the HD run for about 30 seconds and flipped on the Plus and it's great! What memories! Sadly, however, the OS definitely needs to be reloaded because a lot of small bits and pieces are missing or corrupted, but it runs nonetheless. Only have After Dark as an application <yawn> but at least the starry night is interesting. So, as soon as I manage to get an OS on a disk that it will accept (let's hope the floppy is good, too!), I should be good to go.
Everything is functioning like a charm. This Plus is so clean, it looks like it was in a showroom. VERY clean all around. Only 'serious' cleaning was the mouse and that's about it.
