The Apple TechStep Kit is a portable test tool that let Authorized Apple

thoroughly, and accurately than ever before. Because it is small and lightweight,
it is perfect for on-site or in-house repairs. Apple TechStep features
include: * The ability to test non-bootable systems. * A fast and accurate way to
test SIMMs. * The ability to detect intermittent failures through looping tests.
* The ability to thoroughly test systems including logic boards, hard drives,
floppy drives, and video cards.
This is a piece of history, it is vintage, legacy hardware and will not test
current Macintosh Equipment. This unit was originally available to authorized
Apple Service Providers and not for sale to the general public. Suitable for
collectors of Macintosh historical artifacts.
This unit comes with four ROM packs:
1) CPU Tests for Mac Classic, SE, SE/30, II, IIx, IIcx
