Yesterday I bought a SyQuest EZ drive on eBay. I seem to remember doing a
search on Google on these drives a year or so ago and coming up with a
wealth of knowledge, but a similair search today turned up zip (pun
intended).

I understand this drive is bootable (at least I seem to remember it is);
Is there any particular formatting software that works better or worse to
make this true? I'm using FWB version something or another (that's the
technical term) on my 200M SyQuest right now. Can I use the same software
to format the disks and still boot from it?

Any other tips or suggestions regarding this drive. I bought it mostly
because I wanted a new toy to hook up to my SE/30, but also because I
have an SE at our family's hunting cabin. I figured this would be a
better way to transport software down there than a pile of 800k floppies
or this large SyQuest drive and cartridge(s) I currently use.

Thanks,

J White
