I'm afraid my SE/30 uses System 7.0, but if that would be any use, tell me how to make a boot disk and I'll gladly send it.

Evening all (well for me it is),

I appear to has 'goosed' by harddrive on my SE, everytime I boot I get a
'not enough memory' error, even if I boot without extensions, I had just
installed basic black, but think perhaps the version was too new. Sadly the
drive in my other SE (yes I only have two compact Macs, early days ;-) ) is
not yet up and running, and worse still my carefully stored system 6 boot
floppy (squirreled away for just such emergencies) is seriously missing in
action (I blame the kids!).

Could I ask a favour of a UK based list member ? A boot disk through the
post ? I will of course pay for the postage and disk.

Many thanks
Mike
