Hi all and Eric,
Funny enough, I have been thinking about the same thing of late.....
To Stuart, and to all the very knowledgeable Mac compacters out there, why
oh, why... is it so hard to get these earlier systems FREELY available??????
For goodness sake, WE are are group that love and cherish these compact
Mac's, and want to continue with the heritage..... yet due to whatever???
Copyright???...I don't know????
The fact is that the Mac512 Club had them all up on-line till three years ago when Apple retracted their permission for that to happen - literally overnight.
The stupid thing is that anyone with an old Mac needs that s/w, and the s/w came with the Mac, and free upgrades were usually available from your local dealer if you took some blank floppies with you.
Apple have been pleaded with: http://lowendmac.com/myturn/010316.html
All to no avail. So now, there are innumerable copies of the s/w all over the place.
If anyone in the UK wants an interesting CD, just ask. (This comment has, of course, no connection with the foregoing text. As if!)
