Hi.

I have upgraded my Macintosh Plus's memory to 4 mb today. I have a problem. When I start up the computer, it remains on the RAM test screen (the ultra thin horizontal lines). The only way I can get it to start up is by holding down the mouse button (disk or no disk in the drive).

I started up in 4.1, and About The Finder told me that the Plus does see all 4 megabytes of memory (I did clip the resistor, but left it hanging in case i ever want to go back to 1 megabyte).

Thanks for your help,
Ian Nixon
