Hi all,

Ian [from this very list] kindly furnished me with a 6.0.8 boot disk, and
after pouncing on the jiffy bag, the disk was in the SE's drive and it was
displaying a happy face moments later.

However...

As previously mention I installed a few things prior to getting the 'not
enough memory' on boot error, and I just planned to boot off a floppy and
remove the offending items. Thing is when I boot with the floppy I get a
'There isn't enough Finder memory to work with the disk "Hard Disk"", error.
I have 4 MB of ram and the largest unused block size it 2,875, not sure what
could be the issue here. The Hard Disk is a 250MB unit (not sure what size
OS7.1 sees it as) I would not have thought that would be a problem.

A little stuck (once more!) if I cannot see the disk, it makes a fix a
little tricky !

All ideas gratefully received
Thanks
Mike
