While browsing around Jag's place I found his "get that old mac online" pages... The instructions all assume you're using a modem... Can you get online via a LAN?
I have an SE hooked up to a G3 via localtalk. the g3 is hooked up to a router and from there to DSL. Hopefully I will soon have Ethernet for the SE if that makes a difference (thanks to Bryan!).
