Where can I find a drive? I really don't want to sacrifice the 2 gig unit in my NeXTStation.

You all might want to check out www.computersurplusout.com. I got 16Meg
30pin SIMM for $3 each, maybe less.

Aargh! One week after I bought mine from Ebay. Still - not too expensive. I found them on a 'buy it now'-type affair at 4 for $19.99 and another 4 for $24.99. I now have the RAM maxed out and a 1 Gig drive, so I'm also contemplating a BSD install of some kind. Somehow, I think Darwin might be ruled out...

As a previous list poster mentioned, the SE/30 now boots in glacial time because of all the RAM checking. Why, it's nearly as slow as my 2.4Ghz Pentium now. Nowhere near as slow as my Powerbook however, although at least rebooting that is very infrequent.

Cheers, Ian
