As you say, though, there are some fascinating subjects going through and I sincerely wish I could understand more of them!

Wow, great topics of conversation are flowing all over the place on the list. This is really neat. However, as I get the digest copy, I notice how there are a lot of posts that have large chunks of the previous issue of Compact Macs, all the subscription info, etc. that aren't relevant to the topic. It makes it hard to scroll through all the "fluff" to get to the good stuff.
I'm not complaining but just wondering if people could cut down their quoting to the immediate topic at hand with a little editing before sending. Sometims it feels like i'm getting the digest many times over in the same issue.
