I used the first URL and got a message demanding authentication: Username and Password. Of course, I did not know the answers!

Okay,

This time I think I am close. My classic mac FTP site should be located
at ftp://24.47.77.81/~compacts/classicmac. Other than that just trying
ftp://24.47.77.81 with the login and pass of "compacts" should work. I
know for sure that it will work for those who use OS X and can use the
"Connect to Server..." option in the finder. Let me know who can do
what and if it works or not. That way I can track down the problems.
Thanks!

-John!

P.S. - It will be up from 10 AM US EST on.
