Simple... :) Plug it in and install the drivers. You can get the latest (5.6.1) at Asante.

Dear List:

I have an Asante SCSI/Ethernet adapter. I am wondering what the proper

Roland :)

OK two things to watch out for:

1) If it's the model without AC adapter ("Desktop EN/SC") which takes it's power from the SCSI port, AND you are trying to use it with a Plus (no SCSI power) then you have a problem :-( If it's the model with the AC adapter, then you should be OK.

2) Termination. The Desktop EN/SC acts as a terminator (which you can't switch off). Therefore it must be the last device in your SCSI chain. I think the other model is switchable.
