I added 64MB of RAM (4x16MB) to my se/30 in the first bank, and it
didn't want to boot. So I added 4MB to the 2nd bank, and it seemed to
be okay. I read something about different memory configurations and how
you have to put certain size simms into the banks in a certain order
based on size, so I figured this was probably okay. But now, sometimes
when I power it on I get a screen full of texture (sort of vertical gray
lines, dots in between them). If I power it off and back on twice, it
will start on the 3rd time. Then if I boot, shutdown and power on it
will boot fine. Could this be a power issue? I am stumped as to why it
does this. I only noticed the "3rd time is a charm" anomaly after
having done this 2 times, so I am not sure what to think about it, or if
it is truly reproducible. Anyone having similar issues with 64MB or
68MB? Thanks

Rod
