I had a soft bag with my SE, but there was an article in the UK magazine, Mac Times, about a hard case. This was called the DoubleCase and was "a purpose-designed case for the compact Mac range (128, 512, Plus, Classic, SE, SE/30), meant to carry all your system parts including cables, keyboard, disks, mouse, and an external hard disk drive or small printer."
It was made of a double-shelled wall of high density polyethylene.
In 1992, which the article was published, the price was 79 Pounds Sterling.

I don't remember if I have asked this yet. If I have, please forgive me.
Does the Color Classic need a different size carrying case than the SE/30?
The CC is a bit taller, it seems.

When it comes down to it, I guess the thing I'm most upset about losing with
my SE/30 (other than all my files) is the carrying case. The cases seem to
be hard to come by, whereas used SE/30's THEMSELVES seem quite readily
available.
