Wow, how did you know that the battery was dead in my CC :) Perhaps I 
ought to put the new one sitting right beside the machine into the 
machine. I figured I'd wait until I had another reason to pull the 
motherboard, but I guess now I won't.

I just might check this site out. Do yahoo groups allow you to send and 
receive messages from non-yahoo accounts? (so I can read them through 
Claris Emailer instead of iCab)
