>From where I stand it seems you've paid a tech company to keep you OUT of your own hard drive. Make them tell you what they used, and have them UNLOCK the drive so you can use your own Macintosh. The only other alternative would be to wipe your drive using Lido 7.56 available from online through Google. Also go to lowendmac.com and find their downloads section. It has a version of HD Tool Kit that also is a super formatter. The Lido takes a long time, but seemed to break through the lock on a drive I was working with last week.
