Hello Compactors
I am looking for the neccessary software to emulate
DOS 6.22 on my SE. Is there any such thing? I also
have the original program disks to Windows 3.11
(gasp!) and was wondering if that would work as well. Can such a thing run on an SE with a FDHD? I think
they should.
If anyone could point me in the right direction for this I would appreciate it.
I have vpc 1, Realpc 1, Blue Lable 1.6se and a couple of others, none of which are likely to work on a 68000, possibly with the amiga being the exception, cross-dos. Windows 3.11 will run fine on a quadra, sharing the limited resources of a SE would be a large problem if it were possible at all.
Softwindows or RealPC are always lighter/faster than vpc with little performance difference, vpc2 or at most vpc3 is as far as you should go on a biege ppc mac, little is gained past version 2.1.3. A 100mhz dos card eats emulators at a smaller price.
