Hi Jason- You may or may not be interested in this offer. I have an SE/30 parts machine you can have for $15 + shipping via UPS Ground to your location. This is the complete computer. I believe it has either 4 or 8 megabytes of RAM installed. The computer works fine, but is basically useless as the burn-in on the screen is *SO BAD* you would cringe trying to use it. The floppy drive works great, however, and would be a great candidate for a transplant. Not to mention you would have an otherwise complete parts system for your SE/30's should any of their other components ever fail. The condition of the case is so-so. I believe it has some markings on it seeing as how it came from the University of Washington, but I could be wrong. (When you have a room with over 20 compact Macs, it's hard to remember which is which :).
Let me know what you think. If you're interested I'll dig it out and give you a more detailed description. At this point in time, space is valuable, and this particular SE/30 is taking up valuable space. -Nat ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason Greshes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Compact Macs" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, May 02, 2004 5:27 PM Subject: Networking multiplatform home network > I have the following setup: > > 1) Comcast modem plugged into wireless router > > 2) Tray-loading lime iMac plugged by Ethernet directly into wireless > router > > 3) 2 SE/30's (one running 7.5, the other 7.5.3--god, amazing how > bloated it is) right now plugged directly into the wireless router. > > 4) Sony VAIO, with a USB wireless box (Windows XP) > > 5) G4 Cube, with Airport card (10.3.3) > > 6) 2 ibooks, with Airport cards (both 10.3.3) > > 7) The following machines plugged into a little Linksys switch: > a. 5300c running OS 8 > b.
