Read the stuff on-line (loads) and look for old copies of the Danny Goodman book (http://www.dannyg.com/pubs/) and Apple's original hypertext guide (1988 copyright date if you want to work with System 6). And if you've got a System 7 Mac handy, learn a bit of AppleScript which works pretty well with Hypercard...
