AFAIK, the SE and the SE/30 share not only the picture tube, but also the
analog board, the tube back's board and the chasis. In short: the difference
between an SE and an SE/30 is only the motherboard, and perhaps the
floppy/hard drives. An SE makes a good donor of parts to repair an SE/30. Go
for it ;-) .
