If you use a LC550 or Performa550 logic board in a Color Classic, it  
will be functionally the same as a Color Classic II. I have this set up  
here and it works great. Make sure you have the right enabler if you're  
using System 7.1

I can't help you with the model number of the CCI though.

Classic was 16 mghz, Classic II was 33 mghz
Classic was 40-80 meg HD, Classic II was 80-160 meg HD
II probably had a later system version.
MacTracker or other similar programs will give some details.  The tech
library info might have even more?
