No, there isn't that limit.

System 6.0.8 (as well as almost all system versions that can run on a Classic
I) supports *partitions* up to 2 Gb in size. You can put, for example, a 16 Gb
disk and break it into eight partitions that would show in your desktop as
eight separate drives. But for practicall uses, you should stick with 2 or 4 Gb
disks. Even a "small" 500 Mb disk is big enough to hold a very large collection
of software for your Classic (and here not being able to play MP3s is an
advantage - you won't run out of space easily!).

I'd say it's price can be 10 to 20 bucks, but I can't say it for sure.
