I have seen four versions of the EN/SC. There is the large metal box version with AUI, BNC and RJ45 ports, the SCSI ID is selectable and needs a power brick. There is the newer small platinum box that has no power supply provision (I think this is the one Jeff has), there is the Mini EN/SC, a small gray box with BNC and RJ45 ports selectable termination switch, selectable ID switch and a power port that is AC/DC and accepts a wide range of voltages (I have three of these and want a fourth). Then there is the Micro EN/SC with the Powerbook SCSI connector and a power splitter cord that piggybacks with the Powerbook AC adapter.

Yes. And it has a place for a power adapter. At least the one I have for
sale does.

I don't have the adapter, but I have seen them available, or you could go to
radio shack.

Yes it does. I have one. Got it at smalldog

The one I have here has no provision for a power adapter. There is no input for an AC adapter. I guess one could rig a SCSI cable or connector with a connection to the termination line for a power adapter. But unless the adapters you have or have seen are like that, they will not work on this Asante Desktop EN/SC.

The one I have does not look like the one listed in the Ebay sale above. It looks like this one <http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5108157825&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAB:US:6>
