Given that Dan has far more important concerns at the moment, the chances of the replying protocol for LEM lists being modified in the foreseeable future are very close to zero.
The technicalities are, in that context, irrelevant.
The issue is clearly off-topic for the list.
Discussing it will only lead to 'sound and fury signifying nothing', with some people thinking that there's some point to the discussion. In the light of the above, there isn't.
Therefore, this topic is formally declared as off-charter for the list, and you are asked not to contribute further.
