I'm going to swing in with my standard advice for Classic II owners! Max the Ram to 10M, then load OS 6.0.8L (the L is important). This is a special version for a limited number of Macs. The benefit is you get to use all 10Mb of your ram, rather than the 8Mb limit normal for OS 6.
