There are two issues:

1. The extra 'estate' round the edge of any LCD screen display area. It's impossible to tell how much there is on the one you link to without removing the plastic surround. Check out the Taco threads and pictures on the CC Forum (new and old) to see what I mean:

All I have to say about Taco is "wow"! Looks like a lot of work, though very cool as well.

(Is there another thread about that LCD with a beige G3 motherboard here?)

2. Making the CC (575 board, G3 board, or whatever) produce a (S)VGA signal to send to the LCD screen interface. Logic boards from beige G3s do that nicely - CC and 575 l/bs don't, unless you use a PDS video card. Again, it's been discussed widely on the CC fora.

Well there is this mod of course:

But then, how do I extract the VGA signal to get it to the VGA input of the LCD? That's where it's fuzzy to me. Are you saying it's easier to use an LCD PDS card and then run the cable outside the case to the card? That solution lacks elegance. There must be a reasonably simple way to pull the VGA signal off the motherboard and using onboard video.
