If it isn't amplified on the logic board, then that would mean there is an
amplifier on the analogue board.  Does anyone have a schematic or
information on the Classic Analogue board to confirm this?

I have a feeling though that all the amplification is done on the logic
board and I don't know why but I think the faults I have, ie. quiet speaker
output and the lack of a tx signal on both rs422 ports is linked.
