Hi listers,

last night I finished the Re-Design-Project of my Mac SE. Similar like Helmut Goeggel
did it with his Classic-Project I took the VGA-Picture-tube from an Axion 9" Monitor,
swapped the SE MoBo for an Performa 475 MoBo (swapped also the 68LC040 for an
68040/33) and soldered the VGA-Adapter directly on the 475 MoBo. I kept the original
SE fan and put additional two little blowers on the right and left side of the MoBo - near
the 68040 because of the heat of this Processor and......and so on....
Now I got a very fast Macintosh SE with 32 MB RAM, 1 MB VRAM, 1 GB HardDisc and
a 1,44 MB Floppy from a broken Mac IIci and I`m proud like....puh...I don`t know, because
it was my first Re-Design-Project.
Maybe I go to Ebay now and sell it as Apple`s secret SE/40-Project (a little "/40" behind
the "Macintosh SE" should be no problem) and ..... only two of this secret machines
exists - one in Germany (mine) and the other in....mh....let`s think.....in China, yes,
China is OK and I think...mh...500 Euros will be OK too.
But joking aside - if somebody is interested in my SE-Project he can contact me out of
the list - maybe for pictures or tips. (maybe in 2 weeks, I put a description and fotos on
my homepage - I inform about this here on the list when Im ready)
