I think this last question outweighs everything overzealous listers might have felt ;-) . If there is damage, it is done already, and it was done before Andrew laid careful hands on this orphan. As for the Classic II running System 6, I would not bet my last shirt upon it as the C II originally came with 7.0.1; but you can always try as there are other 68030 Macs capable of running OS 6, IIRC the SE/30 and the IIcx shipped with 6.0.3, the IIx with 6.0.1.
