Hi!
I understand that in one of the United Kingdom's former colonies there's a political election of some sort today. I further understand that a couple of guys want to be King - sorry, make that 'President'. It also seems that the election could be close, and is being highly contested.
So, this is a reminder that no political comments of any sort are allowed on this list at any time, and that particularly strong action will be taken against anyone who tries to 'stir' things in the next hours and days.
In the good old days, we used to transport offenders to one of the distant colonies, but I guess our antipodean members wouldn't want to be joined by political trollers exiled from the compact Macs list. We'll have to make do with an immediate ban from the list.
